Hi, I’m Nadene – the face behind Sense of Occasion!
What started about six years ago on my kitchen table (in between my full-time job and trying every crafty thing under the sun) eventually led me to balloons… and I haven’t looked back since!
In 2019, I created my very first balloon designs. By September 2020, I took the leap, left my job, and turned my passion into my full-time business. Since then, with a mix of professional training, self-taught skills, and a keen eye for detail, Sense of Occasion has grown into something I’m truly proud of.
We’ve built our reputation on friendly service, a personal touch, and an obsession with getting every detail just right. Our lovely reviews say it all – we really do care about making your special moments unforgettable.
From single balloon gifts to full-on party transformations, corporate arches, and event décor, we’ve got you covered. We also have a range of props for hire, including light-up numbers and beautiful backdrops. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with big brands, local businesses, and so many amazing individuals – and our portfolio just keeps on growing!
Based in Leeds and covering Wakefield, West Yorkshire, and beyond, we’re always happy to travel to bring your vision to life.
